Introduction

As the E82 1M ages, we see more and more of them being turned into track cars. A popular way of improving the E82 1M’s handling is to lower them with either lowered springs or coilovers.

Whilst there are numerous dynamic benefits of lowering your BMW, there are also some practical downsides. We created our Adjustable Front Drop Links with the following benefits:

• Fully adjustable
• Easy to install and adjust
• Complete control over anti-roll bar positioning
• Removal of tension from an uneven anti-roll bar

Our drop links are designed to give you back control over the rear axle of your E82 1M. After being lowered, the anti-roll bar can be brought into contact with the chassis and other suspension components. Our adjustable drop links allow you to ‘reset’ the anti-roll bar to its original position, preventing any further collisions.

Fully adjustable drop links are also a great upgrade when you have coilovers fitted. During the corner weighting process, having even a slight difference in ride heights at each of the four wheels creates unwanted tension in the anti-roll bars as they are not resting level.
